Ontario college faculty have been in the process of negotiating a fair collective agreement with the College Employer Council (CEC). This process has ground to a halt thanks to the aggressive tactics of the CEC, and now Ontario colleges are facing a potential labour disruption.
Our College Presidents and Board of Governors can avert a strike by calling on the CEC to return to the table and bargain in good faith, or to accept Binding Interest Arbitration.
This is the only way to ensure that students can continue their studies without disruption and any added distractions or stress.
